Hey everyone!
Just an early wish to have a happy, blessed Father's Day! Enjoy the beautiful bright day tomorrow and drink up the sunny summer air:). Also, take this time to thank your family and all that they have done for you (especially your fathers!).

Summer!!
Summer is FINALLY here! I'm so psyched to do what I want without school in the way! Everybody, whether an adult or a teen, could totally use a mental health break! Summer is thriving, and it's time that you should too. If you are stuck on any ideas on how to relax and do something that you want, here are some friendly ideas:
Green Thumb? (Not me!) or Nature Lover?
1) Plant a garden.
2) Do Community Service and clean up at the park.
3) Grab some buddies and go outside! Teens, like my friends, spend so much time on their phones! Get outside! Trust me, it makes you feel alive.
4) Hit a farmer's market. Seeing people out doing things that they love makes your inner motivation get kick-started.
Active?
1) Run around the neighborhood.
2) Bike.
3) Run in a 5K or another charity event.
4) Have a Game Day with your friends- water balloon toss, Capture the Flag, you name it!
Artsy? Cook?
1) Change up your room.
2) Make a new meal or follow a new recipe.
3) Paint a picture.
4) Take some cool, artsy photos
5) Experiment with different foods!
6) Sculpt, draw, sketch, you name it! Whatever makes you happy!
Literature?
1) Read a book that you would never pick up at a glance.
2) Read a book that you have been wanting to read (experiment with different genres!)
3) Poetry
4) Write. It helps to get your ideas on paper
5) Start a journal
Again, there are SO many ideas! I just grabbed a few and put them here! So go out and let your inner star shine!

Keep Calm and Carry On
I know everyone has probably heard this. But it's so true, and important to remember at this time of year. For us teenagers, we have finals to worry about for schooling or college. For adults, it's summer plans and taking care of family and friends. Yes, it is a BUSY time, and it's super duper easy to get frazzled. But remember, from the 20,000 foot view, the panic does not really make a big difference. I am not saying slack off, but take a deep breath and all will be well, I promise. In...out...in...out...(:

Seriously...
Don't let the opinions of others hurt you. In the end, they don't matter. If you believe, and hope, and stay true to yourself, nothing else will matter.

Isn't this a great idea?

I am a big fan of vintage-looking cars, and this is the cutest way to have one in your yard, and put it to good use by planting flowers in it!

Be Yourself
